This book series is the result of almost twenty years of research, studies and dedication to music, percussion, rhythms and percussion instruments. Each volume goes deep in a specific theme, being a music style, a group of rhythms or the techniques for a single instrument.
The examples from these books do not intend to be considered the untouchable truth, or even get close to it. The percussion plurality, as it is deeply related to folkloric movements, does not allow us to define what is right or not.
What I have done was to picture, in a resumed manner, the knowledge that I got during these years, adding my own playing style. The techniques, rhythmic variations and historical facts in the next pages are only a small portion about what can be found on the percussive world.
